Despite company closure, the beloved snack brand advances with a new, upgraded production facility and ongoing social media presence

On June 23, 2025, the Vietnamese snack brand "Ăn Cùng Bà Tuyết" experienced a significant shift as its owning company, Công ty Cổ phần Thương mại Dịch vụ Ăn Cùng Bà Tuyết, officially announced its dissolution due to mounting business difficulties and an inability to secure a suitable market. This news took many by surprise, especially given the brand's widespread recognition across social media platforms, particularly TikTok, where it had amassed millions of followers and boasted impressive sales figures.

The company, headquartered in An Khánh commune, Hoài Đức district, Hanoi, was legally represented by Mr. Nguyễn Minh Trường, born in 1999 and also the company's director. Established in May 2023, the firm initially registered a charter capital of 2 billion VND, with Mr. Trường holding a dominant 85% stake. By October 2023, this capital was increased to 5 billion VND, although details about the adjusted ownership structure were not publicly disclosed.

According to official records from the National Business Registration Portal and the Hanoi Department of Finance, the company formally completed its dissolution procedures earlier in 2025. The decision was collectively agreed upon by four shareholders: Mr. Nguyễn Minh Trường, holding 330,000 shares; Mr. Phạm Hải Dương with 30,000 shares; Mr. Đỗ Thành Nhớ with 15,000 shares; and Mr. Lê Hoàng Vũ Long holding 125,000 shares. The shareholders cited persistent difficulties in finding a viable market and a lack of necessity to continue business operations as their reasons for dissolving the company.

Before concluding its operations, the company assured that it had fulfilled all financial obligations to the state, including tax responsibilities, social insurance commitments, and payments to employees. It also pledged full legal accountability for the accuracy and truthfulness of its dissolution announcements.

Despite the company's closure, the "Ăn Cùng Bà Tuyết" brand remains very much alive in the public eye. The brand, closely associated with Ms. Đỗ Thị Tuyết—also affectionately known as Bà Tuyết Diamond—has cultivated a strong following thanks to its popular snack products such as boneless chicken feet, spicy snack sticks, cheese chicken thighs, and sour fermented pork rolls. These products achieved remarkable commercial success on platforms like TikTok Shop, with combos like 20 packets of spicy boneless chicken feet selling nearly 225,000 units and snack jars surpassing 238,000 sales.

Ms. Tuyết's approachable, humorous, and authentic presence in videos has helped the brand resonate deeply with younger audiences, contributing to the brand's popularity. The official TikTok channel @ancungbatuyet86 boasts approximately 2.8 million followers, while a secondary channel @batuyethanhvi has about 1.7 million followers. Notably, the shopping cart feature on the primary TikTok account was locked since 2023, as Ms. Tuyết clarified in a video, explaining that she had shifted sales activities to the secondary channel where she continues to livestream and sell products daily.

The brand has not been without controversy. In March 2024, customers reported finding foreign objects in products, and in April 2024, complaints surfaced about undercooked boneless chicken feet emitting an unusual odor. These quality concerns emerged during the company's operational period, adding pressure to an already challenging business environment.

Interestingly, while Công ty Cổ phần Thương mại Dịch vụ Ăn Cùng Bà Tuyết has ceased operations, Mr. Nguyễn Minh Trường's individual business household remains active. Registered for other food production and retail activities conducted via mail or internet, this separate entity continues to operate normally, suggesting that the family’s entrepreneurial efforts persist beyond the corporate dissolution.

Adding another layer to the story, Ms. Tuyết has been actively sharing updates about the brand’s transition to a new production facility. Recent videos posted on her TikTok channel showcase the dismantling and relocation of machinery from the old factory to a new, larger, and cleaner one. She proudly described this new facility as "much better," rating it 11 points compared to the old factory's 9 points. The new factory is reportedly located in Sông Công City, Thái Nguyên province, a detail subtly confirmed when the official TikTok account 'liked' a comment mentioning this location.

This move signals a strategic shift for the brand, aiming for more professional and stable operations in the long term. The investment in a modernized production environment suggests that, despite the corporate closure, "Ăn Cùng Bà Tuyết" is evolving rather than disappearing. The brand’s continued activity on social media, consistent product offerings, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into production underscore a transition rather than a termination.
