Vietnam Welcomes New Year 2025 At Cape Dai Lanh

The New Year celebrations across Vietnam kicked off today, January 1, 2025, at the National Scenic Site of Bai Mon - Cape Dai Lanh, marking the first sunrise of the year on mainland Vietnam. Mr. Dao My, the Vice Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee, highlighted the cultural significance of the ceremony, noting, "The flag-raising ceremony marks the beginning of significant events this year," which serves to reinforce national identity and pride. These celebrations are seen as pivotal to fostering feelings of belonging and love for one's homeland.
