Victoria Herrmann Stuns Guests With Two Wedding Dresses

The TV host celebrates her marriage with style and surprises at Castle Schwarzenberg.

Victoria Herrmann, the beloved TV host, created quite the buzz when she married her fiancé, former biathlete David Böttig, at the picturesque Castle Schwarzenberg tucked away in the Ore Mountains. What made the event even more memorable? Victoria donned not one, but two stunning wedding dresses during the festivities!

The first dress, which was selected with the expert eye of Uwe Herrmann—known as the couture king of wedding fashions—was a breathtaking creation featured prominently on the VOX series "Zwischen Tüll & Tränen." Victoria recounted her emotional experience, stating, "It was a very emotional search for the right dress." The significance of finding the perfect gown was evident as she fought back tears—of joy, of course—upon discovering the beautiful white dress adorned with flowers. "We also made a cape for it," she added, showcasing the bespoke effort involved.

Interestingly, the groom, David, was very much involved in the dress selection process, which many believe is bad luck to see the wedding dress prior to the vows. Victoria, who has charmed audiences since her days presenting the popular youth magazine "Elf 99," only realized the potential mishap after the filming had wrapped. Her solution? Kim Kardashian-style, she entered their wedding venue as the new Mrs. Böttig wearing the second dress, which had been artfully ordered online to add another layer of surprise.

After the official ceremony, Victoria changed out of her first dress and embraced her new role at the celebration held at the city’s Ratskeller, where she danced the night away with friends and family, all the more dazzling now in her second wedding dress.

Notably, Victoria Herrmann is not related to Uwe Herrmann, but the two crossed paths at the charity gala "Windlichter" held recently. This charming coincidence only added to the day’s magic, connecting a well-loved figure of television with longstanding tradition.

For guests at the wedding and fans alike, the day was not only about the stunning attire but the demonstration of love, dedication, and the joy of making personal choices, even if they overlook established superstitions. The dual dress affair serves as a reminder of how modern love blends tradition with personal style, reshaping how couples celebrate their significant milestones.

Dressed to the nines, with laughter and love echoing through the hallowed halls of Castle Schwarzenberg, Victoria Herrmann and David Böttig commenced their marital adventure, reminding everyone present—and those tuning in to VOX—of the beauty to be found at the intersection of love, creativity, and heartfelt spontaneity.
