Cities like Yaroslavl, Biron bidzhan, and Tula have curated exciting agendas to welcome the New Year with joy and community spirit.

Starting the festivities on January 1, Yaroslavl will host its annual "Run of Promises," inviting residents to partake in a fun-filled athletic challenge. Participants will run 2025 meters, symbolizing their resolutions and commitments for the year ahead. This event, which caters to enthusiasts of all ages, will take place at 12:00 PM at the picturesque island park Daman, located on Podzelennaya Street. According to city officials, this initiative aims to promote fitness and community bonding.

Following the run, Yaroslavl State Circus promises to entertain families with its unique New Year's show featuring trained polar bears. Scheduled for 3:00 PM at Freedom Street 69, the circus performance is expected to be thrilling, with ticket prices starting from 1400 rubles.

Over the span of the week, local parks will transform with a winter cinema showing holiday films, interactive entertainment programs, and family concerts. The city's vibrant art pieces will adorn the area, serving as splendid backdrops for festive photos.

The first event highlights Tula's focus on local history and culture with a special project titled "Museum Winter." The project will feature themed exhibitions showcasing traditional holiday practices along with festive storytelling sessions, slated for January 5, aimed at immersing attendees in native customs.

On January 1, the Governor’s Ice Rink will be open to all, inviting residents to skate and celebrate the start of the New Year together. Not only does it promise families some winter fun, but it also offers food markets and children's attractions nearby, creating the ultimate winter wonderland experience.

Across Kaluga, the New Year revelries commence with the "Run of Promises" at 11:00 AM by the picturesque Yachen Reservoir. Families are encouraged to kick off the season with this exciting, community-driven run.
