Students can check Class 10 and 12 results on official websites starting at 11 AM

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) is set to announce the highly anticipated results for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for 2025 on April 19, 2025, at 11 AM. Students who registered for the exams will be able to check their results on the official website, ubse.uk.gov.in, as well as uaresults.nic.in.

This year's board examinations were conducted between February 21 and March 11, 2025, with a total of over 2 lakh students participating. Specifically, 1,15,606 students appeared for the Class 10 exams, while 92,020 students took the Class 12 exams. The overall passing percentage for the Class 10 exams in 2024 was recorded at 89.14%, while Class 12 saw a pass percentage of 82.63%.

To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject, with this requirement applying to both theory and practical assessments. If students fail in one or two subjects, they will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams later in the year. The UBSE allows students who are dissatisfied with their results to apply for re-evaluation within 21 days of the announcement.

Students can access their results by visiting the official UBSE website and following these steps:

  • Go to ubse.uk.gov.in.

  • Click on the ‘Examination Result’ link on the homepage.

  • Select either ‘Uttarakhand Board Class 10 Result 2025’ or ‘Uttarakhand Board Class 12 Result 2025’.

  • Enter your roll number, date of birth, and any other required details.

  • Click ‘Submit’ to view your result.

  • Download and print the provisional scorecard for future reference.

In case of high traffic on the official website, students can also check their results via SMS. They need to send a message in the format “UK10RollNumber” for Class 10 results and “UT12RollNumber” for Class 12 results to 5676750.

Once the results are declared, students will also receive detailed information regarding the overall performance trends and a list of toppers. Last year, Priyanshi Rawat topped the Class 10 exams with a perfect score of 500 out of 500, while Piyush Kholia and Kanchan Joshi shared the top spot in Class 12, each scoring 488 out of 500.

The results will be announced during a press conference, where the UBSE will share important information about passing percentages, the list of toppers, and guidelines for supplementary exams. Students are encouraged to keep their admit cards handy to facilitate a smooth result-checking process.

As the date approaches, excitement builds among students and parents alike. The UBSE has emphasized that the results will be provisional and that original mark sheets will be distributed by respective schools a few days after the announcement. These official documents will include all necessary details such as subject-wise marks, total marks, and the final result status, which will indicate whether a student has passed or failed.

In the previous year, the UBSE saw significant participation, with 1,16,379 students taking the Class 10 exams and 94,768 students appearing for Class 12. The board's commitment to transparency and accuracy in examination results continues to foster trust among students and parents.

With the 2025 results set to be released soon, students are urged to stay updated through the official channels and to avoid relying on unofficial sources to prevent confusion. The UBSE aims to provide a seamless experience for all students checking their results.

In summary, the UBSE is gearing up for a crucial moment in the academic calendar, as thousands of students await their results with bated breath. The announcement on April 19 at 11 AM is expected to be a significant event, marking the culmination of months of hard work and dedication from students across Uttarakhand.
