Uttar Pradesh Board Results To Be Announced Today

Millions of students await their UP Board exam results with anticipation and hope for success.

Today marks a significant day for millions of students in Uttar Pradesh as the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to announce the results for the Class 10th and 12th board examinations. The results are scheduled to be released at 12:30 PM on April 25, 2025, and students can check their scores on the official websites upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. Additionally, results will also be available on NDTV's education page.

This year, the UP Board exams were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025, with over 54 lakh students participating. Specifically, 2,740,151 candidates registered for the Class 10th exams, while 2,698,000 students registered for the Class 12th exams. To pass, students must achieve a minimum of 33% marks.

The announcement will be made by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh during a press conference at the board's headquarters in Prayagraj. Along with the results, the board will also disclose the list of toppers and the overall pass percentages for both classes.

In preparation for the results, the UP Board has been actively engaging with students through motivational posts on social media, emphasizing that exams are merely a stepping stone in their educational journey. One of the messages shared stated, "Exams are a phase, not the destination. Today’s result reflects your dedication. Beyond winning or losing, this day is for self-analysis, pride, and preparing for the future. Best wishes to all students!"

The evaluation of answer sheets was conducted from March 19 to April 2, 2025, across 261 centers throughout the state. Remarkably, the UP Board managed to complete the evaluation of around three crore answer sheets in just 15 days, showcasing their commitment to efficiency and transparency in the examination process.

As students await their results, the board has also highlighted the significant number of candidates this year, which stands at 54,37,233. This includes 27,32,216 students in Class 10 and 27,05,017 students in Class 12. The exams took place at 8,140 centers, with a notable attendance rate of 94.44%, leaving only 5.56% of students absent.

Students can access their results by following a straightforward process on the official websites. They need to enter their roll number and other required details to view their scores. Furthermore, the results will also be available on DigiLocker, a digital platform that allows students to access their mark sheets securely.

Looking back at the previous year, the UP Board had a pass percentage of 89.55% for Class 10, with 2,462,026 students successfully passing the exams. This year, the board aims to maintain or improve upon this performance. The results are expected to reflect the hard work and dedication of students across the state, as many have invested significant effort into their studies.

In contrast to previous years, this year's board examinations were conducted under stringent monitoring conditions, utilizing over 300,000 CCTV cameras across examination centers. This three-layer monitoring system was implemented to prevent cheating and ensure a fair examination process.

As the clock ticks closer to the announcement time, the anticipation among students is palpable. Many are eager to see how their efforts have translated into results, while others are hopeful for a chance to improve their scores through supplementary exams if necessary.

In summary, today’s announcement of the UP Board Class 10th and 12th results is not just the culmination of months of hard work but also a new beginning for many students as they prepare for their next academic endeavors. The board's commitment to transparency and efficiency continues to set a benchmark for educational institutions across the country.
