UP Board Set To Announce 10th 12th Results Soon

Over 54 lakh students await their scores as UPMSP finalizes results for Class 10th and 12th exams.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is on the verge of announcing the results for the Class 10th and 12th board examinations, bringing an end to the anxious wait for millions of students. The results are expected to be released sometime between April 20 and April 25, 2025, following the completion of the evaluation process.

This year, approximately 54.38 lakh students registered for the UP Board exams, which were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025. Of these, about 51 lakh students actually appeared for the exams at 8,140 centers across the state. The exams were held in two shifts, with the morning session running from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

According to UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, the evaluation of answer sheets has been completed on schedule. He stated that the preparation of results would take around 15 days, after which students can expect to access their scores. The results will be made available on the official websites: upresults.nic.in, upmsp.edu.in, and upmspresults.up.nic.in.

Students are required to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject to pass. Those who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take compartment exams. However, if a student fails in more than two subjects, they will need to sit for a supplementary examination, which is likely to be conducted in July or August.

For those who believe their scores do not reflect their performance, there is an option for re-evaluation. Students can apply for this service within 15 days of the result announcement, with a fee of ₹500 per subject for the re-checking process.

As the results draw near, students are advised to keep their roll numbers handy to facilitate a smooth checking process online. They can follow these steps to access their results:

  • Visit the official website upmsp.edu.in.

  • Click on the link for the Class 10th or 12th results.

  • Enter the required information, including your roll number and other necessary details.

  • Fill in the security code displayed on the screen and submit.

  • Your result will appear on the screen, ready for download.

Given the large number of students involved, there is a possibility that the official websites may experience heavy traffic during the result announcement. In such cases, students can also check their results via SMS or through the DigiLocker app, provided they have their roll numbers ready.

In addition to the results, the provisional mark sheets will be available immediately after the announcement, while the original mark sheets can be collected from the respective schools approximately 4 to 6 weeks later.

This year’s evaluation process has been particularly stringent to ensure fairness and transparency in results. The board has implemented a robust monitoring system to oversee the evaluation, aiming to maintain integrity throughout the assessment.

As the anticipation builds, students across Uttar Pradesh are eagerly waiting to see how their hard work translates into results. With the announcement just days away, the focus now shifts to the students’ performance and the next steps they will take based on their results.
