The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to announce the Class 10 and 12 results for 2025 today, April 25, at 12:30 PM. This highly anticipated moment comes after a long wait for over 54 lakh students who participated in the examinations held between February 24 and March 12, 2025. Students can check their results on the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in, or through upresults.nic.in. Additionally, results will also be accessible via DigiLocker and various news portals, including NDTV INDIA and Hindustan Times.
As per the latest updates, the UP Board results will be revealed during a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Prayagraj. The Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council, along with other officials, will disclose key statistics, including overall pass percentages and the names of the top-performing students.
This year, a total of 54,38,597 students registered for the UP Board exams, with 27,40,151 appearing for Class 10 and 26,98,446 for Class 12. The exams were conducted across 8,140 centers statewide, making this one of the largest state-level board examinations in India.
To check their results, students need to follow a simple process. They can visit the official websites, select the relevant result link, and enter their roll number and date of birth. After submitting the details, students will be able to view and download their marksheets. For those who might encounter issues accessing the internet, results can also be obtained via SMS by sending a text message with their roll number to a designated number.
As a reminder, students are required to score a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass. Those who do not meet this threshold may apply for supplementary exams, which are tentatively scheduled for July 2025. The UP Board has implemented rigorous evaluation measures this year, including the use of over 3 lakh CCTV cameras to monitor the examination process, ensuring transparency and integrity.
In 2024, the pass rate for Class 10 was reported at 89.55%, with Shubham Verma emerging as the topper. The board has seen a consistent trend in recent years, where girl students have outperformed boys in terms of pass percentages. In 2024, girls achieved a pass rate of 93.34%, significantly higher than the boys’ 85.25%. This pattern reflects a growing trend of academic excellence among female students in the state.
Students are encouraged to carefully review their digital marksheets for accuracy, checking details such as their name, roll number, and subject-wise marks. Any discrepancies should be reported to the UP Board officials immediately to ensure corrections are made.
Once the results are announced, students will receive their digital marksheets via DigiLocker. To access their marksheets on DigiLocker, students must log in using their Aadhaar number and mobile number. The original hard copies will be distributed by schools within two weeks after the results are declared.
For further assistance, students can reach out to UPMSP helplines for any queries related to the results. The helpline numbers are 1800-180-5310, 1800-180-5312, 1800-180-6607, and 1800-180-6608.
As the clock ticks down to the results announcement, the anticipation among students and their families is palpable. With the UP Board’s efforts in conducting a fair and transparent examination process, the 2025 results will not only reflect individual achievements but also the collective academic prowess of students across Uttar Pradesh.
