The Nhung Mẹ Beo establishment, owned by Mr. Phạm Văn Dục, was inspected by the Police of Nam Khê Ward in coordination with an inter-sectoral inspection team on April 26, 2025, and again on April 28, 2025. This inspection revealed that the business was operating without the necessary certifications and licenses, prompting immediate action.

During the inspections, officials recorded a staggering amount of food products at the Nhung Mẹ Beo facility. Specifically, they found 86 bottles of mắm (fermented fish sauce), 640 bottles of various sauces, 3,509 kilograms of sứa (jellyfish), and 1,000 bottles of mắm tôm (shrimp paste). The establishment primarily sells its products through social media, particularly on TikTok under the account name (nhungmebeo), where it packages and ships orders directly to customers.

However, the inspection revealed that Nhung Mẹ Beo was not operating within the legal framework required for food businesses. Authorities found that the business did not have a certificate of eligibility for food safety (ATTP) for the products being sold, nor did it maintain proper health certificates for both the owner and employees. Additionally, there was no self-declaration of product quality for the jellyfish products, and the labels on the goods lacked essential information, such as the production address and product origin.

As a result of these violations, the inter-sectoral inspection team mandated the immediate cessation of operations at Nhung Mẹ Beo. They seized all food items found during the inspections for further investigation and processing according to legal regulations. The team emphasized that such actions are necessary to ensure public health and safety, particularly concerning food products sold to consumers.
