Students can now register online for various academic programs starting February 24 onward.

Culiacán, Sin.- Pre-enrollment for undergraduate programs at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) kicks off today, February 24, 2025, with students aspiring to join health-related fields being the first to register. Starting at 8:00 AM, the online portal opens for Block A, encompassing programs such as Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Nutrition.

Fernando García Páez, the Director General of Education at UAS, announced the commencement of this significant process, stating, "The Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa is well-prepared for this pre-enrollment process, and we have taken the necessary measures to guarantee effective cybersecurity to avoid any operational issues with the registration pages."

The pre-enrollment process is structured across three blocks, with Block B dedicated to engineering programs scheduled to open on February 25, and Block C, focusing on social sciences, set for February 26. Programs available include Architecture, Computer Science, and Psychology among others.

García Páez elaborated on the enrollment process, explaining, "The process consists of students filling out the online form including their CURP, the desired degree program, email, and phone number where they will receive notifications. After submitting this information, they will receive instructions on how to continue the admission procedure." He encouraged prospective students to have all necessary information readily available, such as CURP and contact details.

Students can expect to face the admission exam on May 17. García Páez emphasized the importance of being prompt on the pre-enrollment day, advising, "Ensure your internet connection is stable, and utilize clear information. We even have video tutorials available on the General Directorate of School Services site to guide you through the registration steps."

UAS prides itself on offering quality education, with many programs accredited by external agencies, making it more competitive. The institution has also diversified its learning formats, providing opportunities for students to engage through traditional, mixed, and fully online classes. García Páez noted the efforts made to update and improve study plans to remain at the forefront of educational excellence.

Prospective students should monitor the pre-enrollment portal at preinscripcion.uas.edu.mx to secure their spots and be prepared for the highly anticipated admission exam. UAS remains committed to providing students with the tools and support they need as they take their first steps toward their professional futures.
