The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is set to announce the results for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) for both first and second-year students today, April 22, 2025, at 12 PM. The announcement will be made by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka at the TSBIE headquarters in Hyderabad.
Students who appeared for the exams will be able to access their results through the official TGBIE website: tgbie.cgg.gov.in. The results are highly anticipated, with nearly 10 lakh students having registered for the examinations this year.
According to the TSBIE, the IPE exams were conducted from March 5 to March 25, 2025, with all papers held in the morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM. The first-year exams began on March 5, followed by the second-year exams on March 6. Over 1,500 personnel were deployed across 1,532 centers to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
To pass the TS Inter 2025 exams, students must secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject, with an overall aggregate of 350 out of 1000 marks required. For differently-abled candidates, the qualifying score is set at 25% in each subject. If students do not achieve the necessary marks, they will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams, which are typically scheduled for the third week of May, with results released in June.
Last year's results showed that girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 68.35% for girls compared to 51.50% for boys in the first-year exams. The overall pass percentage for the second-year students in 2024 was 64.19%, while first-year students recorded a pass percentage of 60.01%. This year, students are eager to see if the trends will continue or if there will be improvements in their performance.
Students are advised to take screenshots of their provisional results while waiting for the official mark sheets. These screenshots can be used temporarily for reference during any document submissions. The online results will display the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, overall score, percentage, grade, and division, which are crucial for determining eligibility for competitive exams such as EAMCET, NEET, and JEE.

With the results being announced today, students are reminded to verify all details on their scorecards carefully. Key information to check includes the candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, and overall qualifying status. Any discrepancies should be reported to the concerned authorities immediately.
For any grievances, students can reach out to the TSBIE through the IVR portal at 9240205555 or via email at [email protected]. The board is expected to release helpline numbers and email support to assist students with any technical issues or questions regarding their results.
As students await the results, they are reminded to avoid unofficial websites or third-party links that may not provide accurate information. It is crucial to rely solely on the official TGBIE website or any future notifications regarding alternative methods for result access.
After the results are declared, students who are dissatisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation online by paying the prescribed fee. This process allows students to have their marks reviewed if they believe there has been an error in grading.
With the significant number of students participating in the TS Inter exams this year, the board is committed to ensuring a smooth digital release of results to accommodate the high volume of candidates. Students are encouraged to stay updated through official channels and be prepared for the next steps in their educational journeys.
As the clock ticks down to the result announcement, anticipation fills the air for nearly 10 lakh students across Telangana. Will this year see an improvement in pass rates? Only time will tell as the results unfold.
