Tributes Pour In For Three Recently Deceased Loved Ones

David Bernard Rooke, Ian Ward, and Jennifer Marie Nebzydoski each touched the lives of many, and their legacies will continue to resonate with those who knew them.

David Bernard Rooke, aged 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Morriston Hospital in Swansea. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, David had made his home in Oakland Close, Glais, Swansea. He was a beloved husband, father, step-father, and grandfather, known affectionately as 'gramps' and 'grandad' to many. His family and friends remember him as a loving figure whose presence will be greatly missed.

The funeral service for David will take place at St. Samlet's Church in Llansamlet on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 2 PM, followed by a cremation service at Swansea Crematorium at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's memory to the Jacob Crane Foundation. On Friday, April 25, 2025, Ian Ward, aged 81, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and family. Ian was a dearly loved husband to Sharon and a much-loved father and father-in-law to his children, Liz, Andrea, and Lloyd. He was also a beloved grandfather, affectionately known as Pops, to Cole, Jonten, Jasmine, and Sam. Ian's family is deeply saddened by his passing but grateful for the time they shared together.

A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at the Founders Chapel of Remembrance, located at 117 Rickit Street in Taupo, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11 AM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Taupo Lawn Cemetery. Communications for the family can be sent to P.O. Box 940, Taupo, 3330. Jennifer Marie Nebzydoski, aged 35, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Born on October 13, 1989, at Barnes-Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, Jennifer was a radiant light in the lives of those who knew her. She is survived by her loving parents, John F. and Carol A. Nebzydoski, her cherished sister, Tiffany H. Nebzydoski, and her companion, John R. Kalnas. Additionally, her devoted brother, John D. Nebzydoski, and his wife, Sarah, are among those mourning her loss.

Jennifer's family expresses their deepest gratitude to the compassionate nurses, Teresa, Denise, and Mary, for their exceptional care and kindness during her final days. They will honor her life in a private gathering at Howell Family Funeral Home in Waymart, PA, where they will cherish the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Although she is no longer physically with them, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
