Toyota Motor Thailand is set to make a substantial impact at the upcoming "The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show 2025," which will take place from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at Impact Muang Thong Thani. Under the theme "MOVE YOUR WORLD, MOVE ALL OPPORTUNITIES," the company will showcase a full range of vehicles, emphasizing various lifestyle adaptations and innovations that align with current consumer demands.
Mr. Noriaki Yamashita, the Managing Director of Toyota Motor Thailand, highlighted that the automotive industry in Thailand is currently undergoing significant transformations, notably with an increased interest in electric vehicles (EVs). Last year, sales of electric vehicles (xEV) reached over 200,000 units, marking a 10% growth compared to 2023, which constituted 35% of total vehicle sales. “This growth resulted from hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) sales surging by 29%, while battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales dipped by 8%. This demonstrates Thai customers' acceptance of hybrids while considering practical usage,” Yamashita elaborated.
As the forefront leader in the hybrid market, Toyota aims to reinforce consumer trust in hybrids, which they refer to as "Trusted HEV." The company plans to offer a variety of attractive promotions alongside displaying its extensive lineup of vehicles at the motor show. “This year, the exhibition will feature vehicles with appealing promotional campaigns and special offers available for test drives throughout the event,” Yamashita noted.
One of the highlights at the Toyota booth will be their hybrid vehicle segment, which includes models like the ALL-NEW CAMRY, starting at 1,455,000 baht, and offering special financing options, such as a low-interest rate starting at 1.59% or free first-class insurance under the Toyota Care PHYD program. Other models like the COROLLA ALTIS start at 894,000 baht, while the YARIS CROSS is priced from 789,000 baht. The COROLLA CROSS and INNOVA will also be showcased, with competitive pricing and tailored financing solutions available for all consumers.
In addition to hybrid models, Toyota will present its robust lineup of trucks. The Hilux series, a favorite among Thai consumers, will feature the Hilux REVO GR SPORT 4x4 starting at 1,479,000 baht, with similar special financing offers. The Hilux REVO Smart Cab Z edition starts at 669,000 baht, and the various configurations cater to both commercial and personal users, demonstrating Toyota's commitment to meeting diverse customer needs.
Highlighting opportunities for entrepreneurs, Toyota Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announced initiatives to simplify access to vehicles for SMEs through the "SMEs PICK-UP" credit guarantee scheme, launched on April 1, 2025. Yamashita indicated that this campaign aims to facilitate the purchase of Hilux models and ensure easier financial access for business owners. “This is a pivotal moment for SMEs, as they can now drive off with a Hilux with 0% down payment, no guarantor required, and quick approval on special interest rates,” he stated.
Consumers can also enjoy various offers on the popular Yaris models during the motor show, with the YARIS ATIV starting at 549,000 baht, and buyers can opt for special offers, including an extended warranty that covers 150,000 km or up to 5 years, along with zero-interest financing options. Additionally, promotional activities will include discounts on accessories and the chance to win prizes for attendees.
