‘2024: An Exceptional Year’ Airs December 29

On Sunday, December 29, at 9:30 PM, journalists Ophélie Meunier and Xavier de Moulins will present "2024: An Exceptional Year." This compelling retrospective features memorable events from the previous year, highlighting significant moments for France, such as swimmer Léon Marchand’s remarkable five-medal achievement at the Olympics and the passing of actor Michel Blanc. Detailed interviews and archival footage will provide insights and behind-the-scenes stories from these impactful events.

The evening kicks off with "M6 Celebrates December 31," featuring a grand musical show at the Dôme de Paris. Hosts Élodie Gossuin and Agustín Galiana will lead the festivities with performances from various artists spanning multiple generations, singing and dancing to festive hits from the 1960s to the present.

At 10:20 PM, the party continues with "To’ata Night," showcasing local DJs - Nasty, Pokessi, Rai Tahiti, and more - at To’ata. This vibrant event will blend modern music with rich Polynesian traditions, offering attendees electrifying DJ sets accompanied by talented dancers and performers. Viewers can expect to revel in the celebratory spirit, making it a memorable New Year's Eve on TNTV.

Leaders Extend New Year Wishes from December 30 to January 3

Starting December 30, TNTV will air New Year's wishes from local political and religious figures. The broadcast schedule begins with Assembly President Tony Geros sharing his messages on December 30 at 7:15 PM, followed by Polynesian President Moetai Brotherson on December 31 at 6:50 PM. Other notable mentions include the High Commissioner Eric Spitz airing his wishes at 6:20 PM on the same day.

On January 1, CESEC President Voltina Roomataaroa-Dauphin is set to share her New Year message at 6:25 PM, along with the Protestant Church leader François Pihaatae on January 2 at 5:50 PM. Concluding the wishes, Archbishop Jean-Pierre Cottanceau of the Catholic Church will deliver his message on January 2 at 6:20 PM.
