TNT Sports Unveils Star-Studded NASCAR Broadcast Team

Fans can expect thrilling coverage as the NASCAR In-Season Challenge kicks off in June

TNT Sports is gearing up for an exciting summer of NASCAR coverage as it unveils its complete broadcast team for the inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge. The network will kick off its live race coverage on Saturday, June 28, 2025, with the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, followed by four consecutive Sundays filled with high-octane racing action.

The broadcast booth will feature a star-studded lineup that includes NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., former crew chief and Daytona 500 winner Steve Letarte, and seasoned commentator Adam Alexander. This trio is set to lead TNT's race coverage throughout the five-race series, bringing their extensive knowledge and passion for the sport to fans at home.

Joining them on the ground will be pit reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta, and Alan Cavanna, who will provide real-time updates and insights from pit road. Snider, a familiar face from TNT's previous NASCAR broadcasts over a decade ago, will return to the network, while Trotta and Cavanna bring fresh perspectives and experience to the team. Trotta, known for her work with FOX Sports and NBC Sports, has a strong background in NASCAR coverage, while Cavanna has been a dedicated reporter for the sport since 2013.

The pre- and post-race studio coverage will be hosted by Shannon Spake, who has a rich history in sports broadcasting, having worked with major networks including ESPN and FOX Sports. She will be joined by analysts Jamie McMurray, a winner of the 2010 Daytona 500, and Parker Kligerman, who has competed in both the NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

In addition to traditional coverage, TNT Sports will offer fans a unique viewing experience through the NASCAR In-Season Challenge Altcast on truTV, hosted by former crew chief Larry McReynolds and 21-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Jeff Burton. This alternate format will delve into the individual driver bracket storylines, providing a deeper understanding of the competition.

TNT Sports is excited to return to NASCAR as part of a new seven-year multimedia rights agreement, marking the continuation of a relationship that began in 1983. The network's commitment to innovation and creativity has played a significant role in the growth of the sport over the decades.

As part of its comprehensive coverage, truTV and Max will simulcast the second half of the NASCAR Cup Series practices and qualifying sessions, ensuring fans do not miss a moment of the action. Additionally, Max has launched the NASCAR Driver Cam experience, which offers viewers an all-access pass to watch every driver during races, complete with a layered audio mix of scanner team radios and ambient car noise, all synced with a 1080p Driver Cam feed.

The five races that TNT Sports will broadcast as part of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge include:

  • Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 28, 2025
  • Chicago on Sunday, July 6, 2025
  • Sonoma on Sunday, July 13, 2025
  • Dover on Sunday, July 20, 2025
  • Indianapolis on Sunday, July 27, 2025

With such a talented team in place, fans can expect an exhilarating summer filled with thrilling races and expert commentary. As the NASCAR community gears up for this new chapter, the anticipation is palpable, and the countdown to the Quaker State 400 is officially underway.
