Families can enjoy diverse activities across Bangkok, promoting joy and learning for children during National Children's Day.

Thailand is set to celebrate National Children's Day 2025 with multiple exciting activities and events aimed at engaging and educating young minds across the country. This year's festivities will be held from January 11 to January 12, 2025, and various organizations and venues, particularly around Bangkok, are enthusiastically preparing to create joyful experiences for children and their families.

Among the highlight locations is EM District, which is transforming its retail centers—Emporium, Emquartier, and EmSphere—into vibrant playgrounds filled with fun and excitement. "World's largest indoor playground invites children to have the time of their lives," said representatives from EM District, promising non-stop entertainment. Children can look forward to lively activities such as the amazing indoor play area at Harborland on the first floor of Emquartier and the EMJOY Funival Playground on the second floor, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

For those interested in history and culture, Museum Siam offers engaging exhibitions focused on Thai cultural heritage. "The exhibition combines fun with learning about Thai history," said staff at the museum, highlighting how it has made learning accessible and enjoyable for children. Admission is free for both children and their guardians, making it an ideal spot for family outings.

At Mega Bangna, themed activities revolving around the concept of environmental guardianship will take place. The event, dubbed MEGA KIDS WORLD 2025: THE LITTLE GUARDIANS, invites kids to tackle challenges based on tackling natural disasters and promoting environmental sustainability. "Kids will become guardians of the Earth at Mega Kids World," said Mega Bangna organizers, who have set up interactive experiences including simulated fire-fighting missions and educational workshops on waste separation and the importance of oxygen levels.

Other family-friendly venues include the Children's Discovery Museum, which focuses on stimulating creativity through hands-on activities and displays. Open from 10 AM to 5 PM, this museum promotes learning through play and also offers free entry for all family members. Nearby, Bangkok Planetarium presents exciting astronomy shows, providing insightful experiences exploring the universe. With special exhibits and programs aimed at sparking curiosity among the younger crowd, it's another fantastic addition to the Children's Day lineup. Open between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, the planetarium also welcomes students dressed in uniforms to enter for free.

Meanwhile, the Royal Thai Air Force Museum showcases the history and evolution of Thailand's air force, offering visitors insights through various historical displays, which include military aircraft. This museum is also free for entry, inviting curious minds to explore the skies, literally, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM.

The National Science Museum, located near Pathum Thani, will host interactive exhibitions on everything from the cosmos to robotics, aimed at kindling scientific interest among children, with free admission for kids under 12. Parents can look forward to dynamic science demos and engaging educational displays.

Finally, the Police Museum at Wang Paruskawan, open until 4 PM, invites visitors to learn about the police force's legacy and current operations through fascinating exhibits, all free of charge. Educational and visually captivating displays will enlighten youngsters about the important roles police play in maintaining safety.

To wrap up the festivities, the TK Park Learning Park will provide various educational activities ranging from reading clubs to interactive workshops targeted at kids. Located within Central World and free for all children, it is open from 10 AM to 7 PM, ensuring families have another excellent option for fun learning experiences.

Parents planning to attend should make note of the opening hours, potential visitor limits, and special activities they may want to join during the Children’s Day celebrations.
