The 43rd edition of the "งานเที่ยวเมืองไทย 2568" event will kick off from March 26 to March 30, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, attracting visitors with a plethora of attractions aimed at celebrating and promoting tourism in Thailand. This event will run daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, spanning Halls 1 through 4 on the ground floor, positioning itself as a major highlight in the Thai tourism calendar.
The event's theme this year, "Carbon Neutral Tourism," aligns perfectly with the 2025 initiative, “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sport Year 2025,” emphasizing sustainable practices in tourism. This overarching aim is not merely an environmental placeholder; it is a critical shift towards tourism that actively seeks to reduce carbon footprints while showcasing the inherent beauty and variety of Thailand's locales.
Attendees can expect to explore nine distinctly themed zones, each designed to highlight different aspects of Thai culture and tourism. The first zone, dubbed "Amazing Thailand," showcases the 65-year evolution of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). This area will feature a digital museum alongside interactive experiences like TeamLab and the Amazing Coffee shop where prizes will be up for grabs.
Zone Two focuses on the eastern provinces of Thailand, spotlighting nine provinces and extending the invitation for travelers to explore through "5 Must do in the East" which includes local delicacies and attractions unique to that region. Zone Three shifts the attention to Central Thailand, presenting the SRT Royal Blossom train, renowned MICHELIN restaurants, and DIY crafts tailored to showcase the vibrant local culture and encourage shopping from local craftsmen.
Meanwhile, Zone Four, themed "SEASON OF NORTH 2025," connects visitors with the cultural richness of Northern Thailand through five curated experiences focusing on food, fashion, festivals, crafts, and art. Expect grand spectacles, such as the North LED Show and various cultural showcases that delve deep into local traditions.
Zone Five adopts the "GO SOUTH" theme, inviting attendees to discover the breathtaking attractions of Southern Thailand. Visitors can engage with photography sessions at famous landmarks, indulge in Southern cuisine, and participate in exciting D.I.Y. activities catered to immerse them in local culture.
Zone Six takes visitors on an "Isan Experience" journey that will embody the traditions of 20 northeastern provinces. It features captivating displays, including a high-tech giant incense stick, alongside traditional pilgrimage parades and a marketplace that reflects Isan’s rich heritage.
In Zone Seven, partnerships with tourism stakeholders will illuminate the collaborative aspect of Thailand's tourism initiatives. Zone Eight promotes events and performances designed to support the government’s effort under the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025 initiative paired with vibrant entertainment showcasing Thai artistry.
Last but not least, Zone Nine will showcase Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs), highlighting the journey towards responsible, eco-friendly tourism practices aiming for Net Zero Carbon emissions. This interactive zone promises an engaging way to educate visitors about sustainability.
