The Texas Longhorns men’s basketball program has entered a new chapter following the departure of head coach Rodney Terry, marking a significant change in leadership after two seasons. The decision to part ways with Terry, announced on March 23, 2025, came on the heels of the Longhorns' disappointing exit in the NCAA Tournament's First Four, where they were defeated by Xavier, 86-80, on March 19.
