Telangana State Board Set To Announce TS Inter Results 2025

Nearly 10 lakh students await results as TSBIE prepares for April 22 announcement.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) is gearing up to announce the results for the Telangana Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) for the year 2025 on Tuesday, April 22, at 12 PM. This year, nearly 10 lakh students registered for the exams, which were held from March 5 to March 25 for the first and second years, respectively. Students will be able to access their results online through the official website, tsbie.cgg.gov.in, once the results are released.

The announcement will be made at the TSBIE headquarters in Hyderabad, with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar present to unveil the results. Students are advised to keep their hall ticket numbers handy to avoid any last-minute hassle when checking their scores.

In 2024, the pass percentage for the first-year students was recorded at 60.01%, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 68.35% compared to the boys’ 51.50%. This trend of girls outperforming boys has been consistent in recent years, raising questions about educational equity in the state.

For the 2025 exams, the minimum passing marks have been set at 35% in each subject, with an overall requirement of 350 out of 1000 marks. For students with disabilities, the qualifying score is lowered to 25% in each subject. This year, the board is expected to maintain a similar grading system as in previous years, where grades are distributed as follows: A1 for 91-100 marks, A2 for 81-90 marks, B1 for 71-80 marks, and so on.

Students who are not satisfied with their results will have the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation once the results are released. The board is expected to open a window for re-evaluation applications soon after the results are published, allowing students to contest their scores if they believe there has been an error.

Moreover, for those who fail in one or two subjects, the option to take supplementary exams will be available, providing a second chance to clear the necessary subjects without losing an academic year. The dates for these supplementary exams will be announced shortly after the main results.

To check their results, students should follow these steps: visit the official website, click on the relevant link for either the first or second-year results, enter their hall ticket number, and submit the form. Once submitted, the results will be displayed on the screen, and students are encouraged to download and print their scorecards for future reference.

Over the years, pass percentages have seen fluctuations. In 2023, the overall pass rate was 63.49%, while in 2022 it was 67.16%. The highest recorded pass percentage was 100% in 2021, attributed to pandemic-related evaluation methods. With the results expected to be released this week, students and parents are understandably anxious about the outcomes.

As students prepare to check their results, they are reminded to use reliable internet connections due to potential high traffic on the official websites. The board has emphasized the importance of accessing results only through official channels to avoid misinformation or data breaches. Students should steer clear of unofficial websites or third-party links to ensure the safety and accuracy of their results.

Once the results are announced, students will receive a provisional marks memo that includes their name, roll number, subject-wise marks, overall percentage, and grade. However, it’s important to note that this provisional result cannot be used for official admissions; only the printed original mark sheet will be considered valid for college admissions and other official purposes.

In summary, the TS Inter Results 2025 will be a significant milestone for nearly 10 lakh students who participated in the examinations. The board is expected to ensure a smooth digital release of results, and students are encouraged to remain calm and check their results as soon as they are available. With the announcement set for April 22 at 12 PM, all eyes will be on the TSBIE as it prepares to unveil the results that will shape the future paths of these students.
