Teddy Swims Delivers Second Flawless Night at Manchester Co-Op Live Arena.

Returning for a second night, Teddy Swims delivers another stellar performance in front of a sold-out Manchester Co-Op Live crowd. In just a few short years, Teddy Swims has gone from being a YouTube hit to a global superstar, and as he arrives in Manchester for the second of two sold-out nights at the city’s newish Co-Op Live arena, his skyrocketing popularity clearly shows no signs of slowing down.

Joining Teddy on this run is Irish pop hit Cian Ducrot, who, while being restricted to the least amount of stage space possible, still manages to groove and swagger his way from side to side as his funky pop bangers get this crowd up and on their feet. Now, although his outfit dazzles as much as his pop-funk bangers, when Ducrot takes a seat behind a piano for a couple of intimate songs, the atmosphere really becomes electric.

Looking around the arena in the moments before Teddy Swims takes to the stage for the latest date on his gargantuan “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” tour, it’s almost impossible to pinpoint one demographic of the public who likes the man. From left to right, front to back, it seems like the whole world wants in on the Teddy Swims story, and as he takes to the stage on a raised platform, he has this audience, like many others before him, in the palm of his hand.

A stunning blend of country, pop, soul, and rock, all eyes are on Swims as he delivers a superstar performance full of heart and emotion. An incident early on in the set in the front rows causes the singer to look over, and after checking on everyone’s well-being, announces the continuation of the set by describing his show as a “celebration.”

Of course, in an arena the size of this, most acts come armed with a production to match, and while there is a huge but not OTT production that goes into the show, along with the use of subdued lighting on his band, it all makes sure that Swims is the centre of attention. The magnitude of the venue you are in almost pales into insignificance when he starts to sing as his powerful, soulful voice fills every corner of the arena.

“Bad Dreams,” “Lose Control,” and a cover of “Don’t Stop Believin’” were just some of the highlights of the set while a jaw-dropping rendition of “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” where Swims teamed up with his Irish support, was simply sensational and showed exactly why the world has fallen under the spell of Teddy Swims.

For those wanting more, Teddy Swims announces his upcoming performances, including one at RAC Arena in Perth this October with his band, Freak Freely. His single “Lose Control,” which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made history as the second-longest-running Top 10 song, hints that there’s much to look forward to.

As news spread, presale tickets for his rac arena show went live on March 19, 2025, and fans quickly anticipated the chance to witness this rising star up close.
