Tasha Ghouri Reflects On Heartbreaking Split From Andrew Le Page

In her first interview post-breakup, Tasha opens up about mistakes and future plans while navigating public scrutiny.

Tasha Ghouri, who gained fame as a contestant on Love Island and dazzled audiences as a runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing, is speaking candidly about her recent breakup from fellow reality star Andrew Le Page.

In her first interview following the split, Tasha reflected on her journey from passionate love to heartbreak, offering insights into the emotional turmoil that has come with their separation.

The couple had been together for two years after first meeting on Love Island in 2022, a relationship that captivated fans who witnessed their shared life across social media platforms. Tasha, 26, and estate agent Andrew, 30, lived together, shared a dog named Luna, and even celebrated their bond with matching tattoos. However, in January 2025, it was revealed that they had parted ways, prompting widespread discussion and speculation among their fanbase.

During the interview, Tasha expressed her heartfelt remorse over a decision she now considers a ‘silly mistake.’ She made headlines earlier this month when she revealed that she signed up for the celebrity dating app Raya shortly after their breakup. “I think at the time, I made a silly mistake. I did it way too soon,” Tasha explained. “It was just a heat-of-the-moment kind of situation. Everyone makes mistakes. And in that situation, I did, and I own up to that.”

She later added, “Unfortunately, that’s something I just have to put my hands up and say: ‘Tasha, it was way too soon.’ It is what it is. I can’t turn back time, but I’ve learned from that.” Tasha's admission of this misstep reportedly blindsided Andrew, highlighting the rapid shifts that can occur, particularly after a deeply emotional experience.

Tasha reminisced about the beauty of their time spent together: “We spent so much time together. We had a house. We got our dog Luna together in 2023. It was heartbreaking. But sometimes you just grow apart, and that’s what happened.” Despite the difficulty of the breakup, she emphasized that there are no hard feelings between them. She indicated that they are still on good terms and are co-parenting Luna, stating, “We are going to co-parent her, so of course we are still speaking.”

Further addressing the public nature of their relationship and subsequent breakup, Tasha admitted it has been difficult to navigate the scrutiny. “Only Andrew and I know what happened between us. We are quite private people,” she said, reiterating the challenges of having a breakup in the limelight.

The emotional fallout of their split was amplified by the transition into single life. Tasha pointed out the difficulty of facing rumors and public opinion while dealing with her feelings about the breakup: “Breakups happen in life. Just because ours is in the 'public eye' doesn’t make it any different,” she said.

As part of her healing process, Tasha is redirecting her energy towards her career and personal growth. During her time on Strictly Come Dancing, she realized how integral dancing was to her emotional release. Tasha narrowly missed out on the prestigious Glitterball trophy during her tenure on the show, but she was celebrated as a fan favorite throughout her tour, where she found solace in performing.

Tasha is also pursuing a significant personal project—her upcoming book, Your Superpower, which chronicles her experiences with her cochlear implant, the challenges she faced as a deaf individual, and the importance of representation in media. “When I was younger, there wasn’t any representation for people like me. When Rose Ayling-Ellis went on Strictly in 2021, she was the first deaf person on TV that I felt was a voice for us,” Tasha explained. Her intention is to inspire others by sharing her journey and fostering a sense of self-love and confidence among those who may share similar experiences.

As Tasha embraces this new chapter, she firmly states that dating is not on her agenda. “I’m absolutely not ready to start dating anytime soon,” she confirmed, focusing instead on her career and personal development. “This year is all about Tasha and the new chapter of my life.”

With grace and humility, Tasha has decided to take her experience and use it as a catalyst for growth, reflecting on her past while looking forward to the future, and encouraging others to do the same. It’s a poignant reminder that even in the glare of fame, personal journeys are often complicated but essential for self-discovery.
