Private candidates can now download hall tickets for upcoming Class 10 and 12 exams.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has announced the release of admit cards for private candidates appearing for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2025. This significant step enables those registered for the exams to access their hall tickets via the official DGE website, dge.tn.gov.in, by entering their application number or permanent registration number along with their date of birth.

To download the Tamil Nadu Board 2025 hall ticket, candidates need to follow these simple steps: visit the official website, click on the ‘Admit Cards’ section on the homepage, and select the link for "SSLC/Higher Secondary First Year/Second Year-March/April-2025 Private Candidate Hall Ticket Download." Then, they must enter their application number and date of birth to retrieve their hall ticket, which will then be displayed on the screen. Candidates should download and print the admit card for future reference.

The practical exams for Class 10 SSLC are scheduled from February 22 to 28, 2025, followed by theory exams running from March 18 to April 15, 2025. For Class 11 (HSE 1st Year) students, practical exams will take place between February 15 and 21, 2025, with theory examinations planned from March 5 to 27, 2025. Meanwhile, the practical exams for Class 12 (HSE 2nd Year) students are set for February 7 to 14, 2025, with theory exams occurring from March 3 to 25, 2025.

It is imperative for candidates to stay updated with any announcements and other important details through the official DGE website. "Candidates must stay updated with any announcements through the official website," emphasizes the DGE Tamil Nadu.

Notably, the admit cards include key information such as the student's name, roll number, parent's name, exam center details, exam date and time, reporting time, and specific instructions to follow. This highlights the importance of keeping the admit card safe and accessible as it is mandatory for entry to the examination hall.

While the admit cards for private students have been successfully released, there’s still more to come. "The admit card for regular students is yet to be issued," as reported by News 9. This alert ensures regular students remain informed, as it will be their respective schools’ responsibility to download and distribute the hall tickets to them.

The board exams for private candidates are drawing nearer, and readiness is key. Students must aim to score at least 33 percent to pass these important assessments. With practical exams quickly approaching, this is the time for candidates to focus on their studies and prepare accordingly.

For any additional details surrounding the exam schedules, admit cards, and other information, students and parents alike are encouraged to visit the official DGE Tamil Nadu website. All updates relevant to the exams will be made available there.
