In a press conference held by Tamil Nadu's Minister of School Education, Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the overall pass percentage for the TN +2 results has been reported at an impressive 95.03%. This marks an increase of 0.47% compared to last year’s pass percentage, which stood at 94.56%.

Looking back at the historical trends, the pass percentages for Tamil Nadu’s Class 12 exams have shown a steady improvement over the years. In 2024, the pass percentage was 94.56%, while it was 94.03% in 2023 and 93.76% in 2022. The year 2021 saw a remarkable 100% pass rate, attributed to the challenges posed by the pandemic, which led to different assessment methods.
