Tamil Nadu Board Exam Hall Tickets 2025 Released

Candidates can now download their hall tickets online for Class 10 and Class 12 exams.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has officially released the hall tickets for private candidates appearing for the 2025 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. This announcement came on February 14, 2025, and candidates can now download their admit cards from the DGE's official website, dge.tn.gov.in.

The TN Class 10 exams, officially our SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate), are scheduled to take place from March 28 to April 15, 2025. The Class 12 First Year (HSE) exams will occur from March 5 to March 27, and the Second Year (HSE) exams are set to run from March 3 to March 25, 2025. These exams will be conducted offline, allowing students to test their knowledge through traditional pen-and-paper methods.

To download the hall ticket, students must follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website at www.dge.tn.gov.in.

  2. Click on the "HALL TICKET" section on the homepage.

  3. Select the appropriate option for either the Class 10 or Class 12 hall ticket.

  4. Enter your application number and date of birth to access your hall ticket.

  5. Submit the details to view and download your hall ticket.

  6. Once downloaded, candidates are advised to print multiple copies for their records and for submission during the examination.

The hall tickets contain key details such as the student's name, roll number, exam date, time, and location of the examination center, along with important instructions for the exam day. Each student is required to carry their hall ticket to gain access to the examination hall; without it, entry will be denied.

Exam officials have emphasized the importance of arriving at the exam centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to avoid any last-minute complications. Students are also advised to refrain from bringing prohibited items like mobile phones, smartwatches, or calculators to the exam center, as these will not be allowed under any circumstances.

Given the proximity of the exam dates, the DGE has encouraged all candidates to revise thoroughly, utilize previous years’ question papers, and carefully follow the examination guidelines to maximize their chances of success. Adherence to these instructions will play a significant role in ensuring smooth conduct during the examination period.

For students who may require additional information, the DGE has provided direct links on their website for easy access to hall ticket downloads and other relevant updates. With the 2025 examinations fast approaching, students are urged to stay focused and prepared to tackle these important assessments.
