System Of A Down Announces Brazil Concerts For 2025

Iconic band returns for shows after 10 years, tickets go on sale soon.

System of a Down, the iconic nu-metal band known for its eclectic style and powerful political messages, has announced its much-anticipated return to Brazil for three concerts as part of their South American tour titled "Wake Up!". This marks the band’s first performances in the country since 2015, when they graced the stage at Rock in Rio.

The concerts are scheduled to take place on May 6, 2025, at the Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira in Curitiba, May 8 at the Estádio Nilton Santos (commonly known as Engenhão) in Rio de Janeiro, and on May 10 at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. The announcement was made on December 16, 2024, stirring excitement among fans who have long awaited the band's return to Brazilian soil.

According to the tour promoter 30e, pre-sale tickets go on sale on December 17, from 10 AM, exclusively for fans registered on the band’s official site, systemofadown.com. General ticket sales will commence two days later, December 19, at 12 PM, through the Eventim platform.

Given System of a Down’s deep-rooted connections with their audience, ticket prices have been set to accommodate various fans. For the show in Curitiba, prices range from R$197.50 for half-price admission to R$1,195 for premium seating options. The breakdown of seating prices is as follows:

Rio de Janeiro's show at Estádio Nilton Santos will have similar pricing, offering fans various options based on proximity to the artist. Prices will start at R$247.50 for half-price admission to R$1,195 for premium seats. Specific prices for this venue include:

  • Pista Premium – R$547.50 (meia-entrada) | R$1,095.00 (inteira)

São Paulo tickets at Allianz Parque follow suit with similar price structures, appealing to the varied fanbase. Admission ranges from R$247.50 for the cheaper options to R$1,195.00 for exclusive premium access.

Fans will also have access to special ticket options, including the Hot Seat and VIP Package, which include added benefits like early entry, exclusive merchandise, and other perks.
