SUPER BEAVER And Aimyon Drop New Singles For April 2025

The two popular artists unveil tracks that will serve as theme songs for upcoming television programs, stirring excitement among fans.

In an exciting start to 2025, two beloved Japanese artists have announced new singles that align with major upcoming television programming. The rock band SUPER BEAVER plans to release a track titled "Shujinko," while singer-songwriter Aimyon is set to unveil her new song "Aria." Both songs are expected to resonate deeply with audiences and bring new energy to their respective media formats.

SUPER BEAVER, which is marking its 20th anniversary in April 2025, has gained significant attention recently, especially with their anniversary live event “Tokyo Rakuda SP” nearly selling out. They have penned their new song to serve as the theme for the Fuji TV morning information show "Mezamashi TV" for the years ahead. Their collaborator on this track is guitarist and chorus member Ryota Yanagisawa, who indicates that the piece was inspired by the diverse experiences of mornings faced by their listeners.

In a heartfelt statement, Yanagisawa expressed his surprise and joy in tying their music to such a prominent show during the mornings of viewers. "I never thought I would hear our music ringing out on someone's morning, especially on 'Mezamashi TV', which I've watched since I was little," he said. He further elaborated on his creative process, noting that the song incorporates a larger arrangement than any of their previous works, integrating wind instruments such as saxophones and trombones, thereby establishing it as one of their largest compositions to date.

While the release date for "Shujinko" is yet to be confirmed, the band emphasizes the meaning behind the song, hoping it becomes a theme song for listeners' own mornings: "I’ve always been the protagonist of my own story, but to have our song play such a significant role in someone else's story is something truly special," Yanagisawa remarked, conveying the band's desire to impact the daily lives of fans positively.

Meanwhile, Aimyon is set to release her song "Aria" as the theme for NTV's new Saturday drama "Naze Watashi ga Kaishin Kyou ni?" which premieres on April 12, 2025. The show stars actress Alice Hirose in a comedic exploration of new challenges faced by a former NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) who inadvertently becomes a high school teacher. The storyline promises a humorous take on education and personal redemption.

"Aria" embodies a warm message of hope, emphasizing that "everyone can become a light." Aimyon collaborated with long-time friend and music producer Shin Sakiura to co-write this uplifting song. The synergy between the artists is evident, as they aim to deliver a relatable theme that complements the drama's narrative, enriching viewers' experiences with music that inspires.

Although a specific release date for "Aria" has not yet been set, anticipation continues to build as the drama prepares to launch. Viewers are promised a blend of laughter and heartfelt moments as Hirose's character navigates her students' antics while discovering her own path.

As both SUPER BEAVER and Aimyon gear up for their respective releases, they exemplify how music and television can intertwine, creating memorable moments for fans. With their rich narratives and emotional appeal, these upcoming songs are poised to mark significant points in the cultural landscape of 2025. Their impact may well extend beyond the confines of entertainment, resonating deeply with audiences looking for connections that speak to their own lives.

With the roster of events unfolding this April, the Japanese music scene is alive with anticipation. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for these releases, as both SUPER BEAVER and Aimyon continue to shape the soundtracks of their experiences and the collective journey of their audiences in these evolving times.
