"Sobre os alagamentos, a cidade apresentou alguns pontos no último final de semana. Tanto o índice pluviométrico e quanto a maré apresentaram significativa diminuição poucas horas depois," stated the Itanhaém City Administration through Santa Portal. They noted awareness of the flooded streets and had already dispatched teams to address the issues. Specific problems reported included impassable roads due to large holes, particularly on São Bernardo Street, as well as sewage conditions on Avenida Julinha, which exacerbated flooding with various depressions on the roads noted across several neighborhoods.

The event features nightly processions beginning around 10:30 PM until the early hours, visiting approximately 120 households throughout the celebration.
