Japanese band sumika is set to release their long-awaited fifth album, titled Vermillion's, on March 5, 2025. This marks their first album release in over two and a half years, making it highly anticipated among fans. The limited initial production edition features a decorative tall tray and includes a Blu-ray of their live performance from the 'FLYDAY CIRCUS' tour held earlier this year at Pia Arena MM, showcasing the entire concert experience. Simultaneously, sumika will host pop-up collaboration cafes at Tower Records CAFE locations in Omotesando and Osaka. Guests can look forward to menus specially crafted by band members themselves, along with exclusive merchandise available for purchase. Fans who reserve the album through Tower Records will also receive serial codes for early access to the collaboration cafe's reservation process, enhancing their overall experience.
On December 20, 2024, sumika will also release their new digital single, 'Dang Ding Dong,' which has been selected as the official theme song for Chukyo Television's entertainment program titled Gootakusan.
