Introduced to Mexico back in 2021, Starlink quickly garnered popularity, leveraging its capacity to provide high-speed internet to hard-to-reach areas across the nation. Currently, Starlink has segmented its service offerings to cater to residential needs with varying priorities. The prices have shifted remarkably, with plans now available starting at just 800 pesos monthly for the Residential Lite package. This move reflects Starlink's commitment to improving accessibility to those previously priced out of high-speed internet options.
Previously, the service was priced significantly higher, around 2,299 pesos per month. This reduction not only benefits individual users but also places Starlink at the forefront of internet services within Mexico amid soaring demands.
The company, which operates without long-term contracts, believes this model provides flexibility, allowing for price adjustments according to market demands. A statement from the company noted, "Los contratos a largo plazo impiden que tanto usted como Starlink realicen cambios razonables cuando sea necesario," emphasizing their operational philosophy aimed at enhancing user experience.
Apart from the residential plans, Starlink has introduced versatile service packages like Starlink Mini, appealing to those needing portable internet. Launched at the beginning of 2025, this compact solution is ideally suited for travelers or for setting up internet access quickly within smaller living spaces.
Starlink’s packages for mobile internet services have also reflected significant price drops. Plans for portable users now stand at 1,650 pesos per month, with the initial kit priced at 7,599 pesos—representing substantial savings compared to earlier costs.
