Stacey Solomon shared a heartwarming moment with seven-month-old Elias during the latest episode of Sort Your Life Out, her BBC home makeover and decluttering show, which aired on March 18, 2025. Solomon rocked the adorable baby boy to sleep before he was laid down on a bed in the warehouse, while she actively helped his parents and four-year-old sister, Zora, sort through their possessions.
The episode focused on the Noel family from east London, who were in dire need of organizing assistance. Dee and Aaron Noel, who met 17 years ago at university, moved into their 'forever home' three years ago, welcoming their daughter Zora and later, baby Elias. The family’s clutter included a staggering 49 make-up brushes, 213 CDs, 552 books, and 116 babygrows.
Dee, a trainee clinical psychologist, shared the emotional strain following Elias's birth, which occurred unexpectedly at home on the bathroom floor. "I was planning a home birth with support of midwives, but it happened very quick. I was watching TV an hour-and-a-half later, he was here," she recounted, reflecting on the swift change in her life.
Aaron recalled the experience, saying, "Dee shouted, it's here! And the baby arrived, I caught him and wow, like I just couldn't believe I had this baby in my arms, and the home birth pool was still being filled up." The emotional toll of the event profoundly affected Dee, who after the birth found herself required to be on bed rest for months. "I had to go on bed rest for a good few months. I think there's this culture of like bouncing back very quickly from childbirth, but it's really difficult when you have another child and they've got needs and you're trying to look after them," Dee mentioned, underscoring the challenges many new mothers face.
As Solomon and her team – including professional organizer Dilly Carter, cleaner Iwan Carrington, and handyman Rob Bent – set to work, they engaged the family in a process of decluttering that turned the chaotic space into a more manageable environment. Viewers were captivated by the interaction between Solomon and the children, tweeting their delight: "Small children just LOVE Stacey #SortYourLifeOut," noted one user. Another added, "One of my favourite TV programmes is Sort Your Life Out. Are you watching tonight? Have you ever seen a cuter baby in your life!!!! #SortYourLifeOut Plus, I totally and utterly adore Stacey Solomon."
The charm of baby Elias, combined with Solomon's gentle guidance, alleviated some stress for the family during what had been a difficult time. The sheer quantity of items they sorted through showcased the reality many families encounter, where daily life can become overwhelming in the presence of clutter. It’s easy to appreciate how Solomon’s presence brought comfort not only to the Noel family but also to the viewers who tuned in to witness the transformation.
With the show airing weekly on BBC One at 8 p.m. every Tuesday, there's anticipation for new episodes and heartwarming stories. Fans can also catch up on episodes via iPlayer. As Sort Your Life Out seeks applicants for the next series, families looking for help in decluttering their homes may find the show as a source of inspiration and relief.
