NEW DELHI: The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has officially launched the slot booking process for the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2025, allowing registered candidates to secure their preferred exam dates and times. The booking window opened on April 18, 2025, and will remain accessible until April 19, 2025, at 11 PM. Candidates can book their slots through the official website admissions.srmist.edu.in.
During the slot booking process, candidates are required to log in using their application number and date of birth. They will then be able to select their desired exam dates, timings, and examination centres. The first phase of the SRMJEEE 2025 exams is scheduled to take place from April 22 to April 27, 2025, with sessions running from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and 2 PM to 4:30 PM each day.
Once candidates complete the slot booking, they can download their admit cards, which will include the booked exam date and time. It is essential for candidates to double-check the information on their admit cards after downloading them, as any discrepancies must be reported to the exam authorities immediately.
In addition to the slot booking, SRMIST will be conducting mock tests for candidates from April 19 to April 21, 2025. These mock tests are designed to familiarize candidates with the online proctored examination format and provide an opportunity to practice before the actual exam.
For candidates who missed the registration for the first phase, there is still an opportunity to apply for the subsequent phases. Registration for SRMJEEE Phase 2 remains open until June 6, 2025, with the exam scheduled for June 12 to 17, 2025. The last date to register for Phase 3 is June 30, 2025, with the exam set for July 4 to 5, 2025.
The SRMJEEE 2025 will be conducted as a remote proctored online test, meaning candidates can take the exam from their homes using their own computers or laptops. To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates must meet specific technical requirements, including a working webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a computer that meets the minimum specifications.
As per the exam guidelines, candidates must log in at least 60 minutes before the exam starts to complete necessary checks and read instructions. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes, and candidates are not permitted to leave their seats during this time. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions across four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English and Aptitude.
Each correct answer will earn candidates one mark, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. The question paper will be available in English only, covering a total of 130 marks across 130 questions.
To book their slots, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the SRMIST admission portal and click on "Already Registered? Login".
