Her career has spanned decades, and she remains a beloved figure in the Japanese music industry.

In 2000, Kudo married Takuya Kimura, a prominent member of the boy band SMAP. Together, they have two daughters: the eldest, Cocomi, is a talented flutist and model, while the younger, Koki, has made her mark as a model and actress.
