Shakti Dubey, a graduate of Allahabad University and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), began her preparation for the UPSC examinations in 2018 after completing her Master’s degree in Biochemistry. Her choice of optional subjects for the examination was Political Science and International Relations, a decision that proved instrumental in her success.
In a recent interview, Dubey reflected on her journey, stating, "I'm from Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh. I completed most of my schooling and my undergraduate studies there, earning my Bachelor's degree from the University of Allahabad. For my post-graduation in Biochemistry, I moved to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and completed it in 2018. Since then, I've been preparing for the Civil Services." This dedication to her studies and preparation has made her a role model for many aspiring civil servants.
