Additionally, in Hopewell, Virginia, residents faced significant disruptions due to an overturned tank truck on State Route 10. This incident led to traffic being rerouted temporarily, and the tank truck, which was empty, also damaged traffic lights, a rail, and a restaurant sign in the area. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the truck rise about 8 to 10 feet in the air before it overturned. Stevie Showns, an onlooker, recounted, "I saw the tractor-trailer fly about 8 to 10 feet in the air. It was crazy." The truck driver reportedly ran a red light before clipping a city vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.

In another unfortunate incident, a two-car crash in Milford, New York, resulted in the death of one driver. This collision occurred at around 6:00 AM on March 19 on the 3000 block of State Highway 28.
