In St. Tönis, also on March 19, a 64-year-old woman experienced serious injuries when her vehicle collided with a tram. The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM as she attempted to make a left turn from Krefelder Straße onto Mühlenstraße. According to police reports, the woman had entered the turn lane incorrectly and proceeded to turn left even though the light was still red at the left-turn lane. This resulted in her car colliding with a tram heading towards St. Tönis from Krefeld.
