Schlager Music Stars Set To Shine This February And July

Major events featuring beloved singers promise to attract thousands and boost local tourism.

Germany is gearing up for some exciting events set to showcase the best of Schlager music. One of the most awaited occasions, the "Schlager am Meer" concert, will take place at the picturesque Ostseebad Boltenhagen, attracting fans with its star-studded lineup.

Scheduled for July 2025, this annual open-air event promises to offer great music by famous artists such as Ross Antony, Anna-Carina Woitschack, Cora, and Olaf Henning. With thousands of Schlager enthusiasts expected to flock to the beach beside the Seebrücke, it’s bound to be another unforgettable summer celebration. The question on many minds: Will Ross Antony welcome Anna-Carina Woitschack as his successor after the Dschungel camp success?

Meanwhile, the excitement doesn't stop there. The "Giovanni Zarrella Show" will make its way to Friedrichshafen for back-to-back shows on February 15 and 19, 2025. The first day will include a live broadcast from Halle A1 of the Messegelände, followed by the recording of another episode, promising fans dual opportunities to engage with top-tier entertainment.

Klaus Wellmann, the Messe-Geschäftsführer, expressed his excitement, stating, "Wir freuen uns wirklich sehr, dass das ZDF unser Gelände erneut als Produktionsstandort für eine große Unterhaltungssendung nutzt." His words reflect not only pride but also the importance of such events to the venue itself.

Friedrichshafen's mayor, Andreas Hein, echoed this sentiment, calling the city and the Messe Friedrichshafen the ideal place for such significant gatherings. Indeed, these events promise to enrich the local community by drawing both visitors and media attention.

On February 15, various Schlager and pop icons are expected to perform live, including Roland Kaiser, Howard Carpendale, Andreas Gabalier, Nicole, and many more. This event will revolve around the theme of love, perfectly timed just after Valentine’s Day, making it poignant for the audience.

Following this, on February 19, the recorded show will be aired, featuring artists like Beatrice Egli, Katja Ebstein, and the famous step-dancing troupe, "Lord of the Dance," set to encourage the audience to dance the night away. Giovanni Zarrella, the charismatic host, has already begun promoting these events enthusiastically on his social media, stating, "Ich freu mich auf euch."

With ticket sales set to begin on January 14, 2025, excitement is already building for both events. Each evening will have between 2500 to 2600 tickets available, providing fans ample opportunity to secure their spot at these thrilling performances. The intersection of tourism, community pride, and vibrant music culture will undoubtedly mark this season as one of the most memorable yet for Schlager fans across Germany.
