SC Preußen Münster Engages Fans With Community Events And Victorious Matches

The Kids-Club activities captivate young supporters as the first team aims for league success.

SC Preußen Münster is making waves both on and off the pitch, actively engaging with the community and working tirelessly to maintain their position in the league. One of the club's most heartwarming endeavors is the Kids-Club, which has been delighting young fans through interactive activities and unique experiences.

Recently, the Kids-Club organized an event where three young reporters had the thrilling opportunity to interview Simon Scherder following the team’s 2-0 home victory against Jahn Regensburg. This experience not only engaged the children but also provided them with hands-on journalism training through workshops where they learned about match reporting and crafted pre-match reports.

The excitement didn’t stop there. The Kids-Club has another exciting adventure planned: on April 5, 2025, the young fans will travel to the Fortuna Düsseldorf stadium for what promises to be an unforgettable day. For just 10 EUR, participants will travel by bus with the Kids-Club team, enjoy designated seating, and have their meals provided. Registration for this special outing closes on March 21, 2025, at 15:00. It’s expected to fill up quickly, so interested families are urged to secure their spots by emailing [email protected].

Following closely behind this event, the Kids-Club will host its much-anticipated Easter special on April 21, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM. Youngsters can partake in an exciting treasure hunt throughout the stadium, along with various games and activities. This enjoyable day will also include an Easter egg hunt with their friendly mascot, Fiffi, who has hidden colorful eggs around the venue. Participation is free, but spots are limited and registration must be completed by April 6, 2025.

While the Kids-Club captures the hearts of local youth, the SC Preußen Münster first team is battling fiercely on the field. Recently, they succeeded with a 1-0 victory against SV Elversberg, earning three valuable points and creating some much-needed breathing room above the relegation zone. The win has left them three points clear of Eintracht Braunschweig, who currently occupy the perilous 16th position.

“Wenn man unsere Spiele in den letzten Wochen verfolgt hat, dann hat man gesehen, dass wir leiden mussten und teilweise auch Pech hatten. Umso glücklicher bin ich nun,” expressed Coach Sascha Hildmann, reflecting on the team’s difficult past matches and their recent turnaround.

Hildmann adopted a different approach during the game, opting for a more defensive formation which paid off. “Wir wollten ums Verrecken die Null halten und nicht wieder in Rückstand geraten,” stated midfielder Luca Bazzoli, highlighting the team's focus on defense as they strategized to avoid falling behind again.

Looking forward, the team faces Eintracht Braunschweig on March 30, 2025, which many view as a decisive match, especially with the stakes so high. Mikkel Kirkeskov, the team’s defender, expressed his rejuvenation after recent struggles, saying, “Nach den letzten Wochen tut es einfach gut, wieder als Sieger vom Platz zu gehen. Diese Punkte sind enorm wichtig.”

Tickets for the upcoming away game against Fortuna Düsseldorf are already generating excitement. All 5,138 tickets available were snapped up within minutes, leaving no room for additional sales. Even though the tickets were offered for free by the home side, fans still paid 5 EUR, which accounts for various fees attributed to ticket processing and internal costs for the visiting club. A portion of the funds raised will also support the team’s travel to upcoming matches, showing how every effort contributes to building community support and team success.

With the upcoming matches and community-focused activities, SC Preußen Münster is not only striving to secure their league standing but also fostering loyalty and excitement among their younger supporters. With engagement events like those organized by the Kids-Club, the club continues to create lasting memories for future generations of fans. The focus now remains on making the most of the pivotal games to come, where each point is invaluable.
