Ticket sales and travel arrangements set for crucial playoff match as excitement builds

SC Cambuur is gearing up for a crucial promotion/relegation playoff as they prepare to face FC Den Bosch on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 20:00 in Stadion De Vliert. This match marks the beginning of a tense playoff series where every goal counts and every point is critical.

As the playoffs commence, Cambuur enters the fray as the highest-ranked club from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, following a strong finish to the season. Their last match saw them secure a narrow 1-0 victory over MVV, thanks to a well-placed goal from Tony Rölke, which solidified their position in the playoff standings.

Meanwhile, FC Den Bosch, who qualified for the playoffs by clinching the first period title, will be looking to capitalize on their home advantage. The stakes are high, and the atmosphere is expected to be electric as fans from both sides rally behind their teams.

In preparation for this pivotal clash, SC Cambuur has made arrangements for their supporters to attend the match. A total of 450 tickets are available, and the ticket sales have been structured in multiple rounds to accommodate fans based on their loyalty points. The first sales round began on Friday, May 9, requiring at least 25 loyalty points, with subsequent rounds offering tickets to fans with fewer points.

Supporters planning to travel to Den Bosch have two transport options: the bus combi and the pendelcombi. The bus combi, priced at €35 (or €30 for KVC members), requires fans to arrive at Cambuurplein by 16:15, with buses departing at 16:30 from the old Cambuur Stadion. On the other hand, the pendelcombi costs €17.50 (or €12.50 for KVC members) and requires fans to be at Bisde (Beesd, A2) by 18:25, with departure set for 18:40.

In a twist, supporters are allowed to bring a maximum of three cans of beer on the bus journey, adding to the festive atmosphere expected among the traveling fans. However, minors must be accompanied by an adult supporter aged 21 or older.

The ticket sales will remain open until Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 23:59 or until the tickets are sold out. It is important to note that an away card ('uitkaart') is mandatory for all attendees, and fans are encouraged to ensure they have their cards ready before travel.

As the playoffs approach, the excitement builds not only for Cambuur and Den Bosch but also for the other clubs involved in the promotion and relegation battle. Telstar recently secured the last playoff ticket by defeating FC Emmen in a decisive 3-0 victory. This win allowed Telstar to join SC Cambuur, ADO Den Haag, FC Dordrecht, and De Graafschap in the playoff race.

In their match against FC Emmen, Telstar got off to a flying start with a goal from Guus Offerhaus just three minutes into the game, followed by a second goal from Jeff Hardeveld. Youssef El Kachati sealed the win with a third goal, ensuring Telstar's place in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, ADO Den Haag showcased their offensive prowess in a stunning 7-2 victory over VVV-Venlo, with Jari Vlak, Lee Bonis, and Daryl van Mieghem all contributing to the scoreline. This victory not only secured their playoff position but also demonstrated their readiness for the challenges ahead.

As the playoffs are set to kick off, SC Cambuur's path to potential promotion looks promising. They will face Den Bosch in the opening round, with the possibility of advancing to meet an Eredivisie team in the final round, currently projected to be Willem II, although Almere City and RKC Waalwijk could also join the fray.

With the playoffs scheduled to conclude on June 1, 2025, fans are eager to see which team will secure promotion to the Eredivisie. The excitement surrounding the playoffs is palpable, and the upcoming match between SC Cambuur and FC Den Bosch is sure to be a thrilling encounter.
