Saudi Arabia is placing significant emphasis on providing financial support to its citizens, particularly families with limited and average incomes. Among the most notable initiatives is the Citizen Account program, designed to improve living conditions and enhance social justice. As the year 1446 AH approaches, many citizens are keen to understand the requirements for obtaining support through this program, alongside the steps necessary for proper registration.
The Ministry has outlined several basic conditions that applicants must meet to qualify for the Citizen Account support. Firstly, applicants must be Saudi nationals, although exceptions are made for children of Saudi women who hold transferable tribal cards. Additionally, it’s essential for applicants to have permanent residency within the Kingdom, with a stipulation that they must not have spent more than 120 days outside the Kingdom in the past year.
Moreover, the legal age for applying is set at a minimum of 18 years. Applicants must also refrain from owning high-value assets or properties that could affect their eligibility for support. Notably, those residing in government-owned housing or economic centers are also ineligible for the program. Furthermore, applicants must accurately disclose their monthly income and the number of family members, as these factors play a crucial role in determining the amount of financial assistance they may receive.
To register for the Citizen Account program, eligible citizens can easily do so through the official Citizen Account platform. The process begins with accessing the official website and creating a new user account. New users should click on "Register" and provide the required information, including their ID number, date of birth, mobile number, and verification code.
Once the account is created, users will receive a text message containing a temporary password for account activation. After logging in with the temporary password, users are prompted to change it to a personal password. The next step involves completing personal information, which includes their address, details of dependents, monthly income, and bank account information (IBAN).
In some cases, applicants may be required to upload supporting documents, such as proof of income or proof of residence. It’s crucial to review all information carefully before submitting the application to ensure accuracy.
Beneficiaries have the ability to update their information through the same platform if there are changes in the number of family members or income. Moreover, applicants are advised to monitor their eligibility status monthly to determine if they qualify for the support. In the event of a rejected application, an electronic objection can be submitted, detailing the reasons and including supporting documents.
In addition to the Citizen Account program, the Al Rajhi Foundation has also announced the opening of registration for its charity Hajj program for the year 1446 AH. This initiative represents a significant social effort aimed at enabling citizens to perform the Hajj pilgrimage without incurring financial burdens, particularly for those in need.
The Al Rajhi Foundation’s support encompasses covering all essential expenses related to Hajj, including accommodation, transportation, and meals, aligning with the Kingdom's goals of fostering social solidarity and facilitating religious observance for eligible individuals.
To register for the free Hajj program, applicants must follow a series of steps. These include accessing the official website of the Al Rajhi Hajj Foundation, creating a new account or logging into an existing one, and filling out an electronic form with all required details such as full name, ID number, date of birth, and residential address.
Applicants are also required to upload necessary documents electronically through the platform. After submitting their applications, they will need to await the results, which will be announced subsequently on the website or via text message.
Several conditions must be met for registration in the Al Rajhi charity Hajj program. Applicants must be Saudi citizens or have legal residency in the Kingdom. Additionally, they must not have performed Hajj previously and should be unable to afford the costs associated with the pilgrimage. Good health is also a requirement, ensuring that applicants can complete the Hajj rituals without any hindrances.
It’s essential for applicants to ensure that all official documents and required materials are submitted accurately. The Foundation emphasizes the importance of providing precise information to guarantee acceptance into the program. The results of the acceptance into the charity Hajj will be communicated electronically, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all applicants.
Both the Citizen Account program and the Al Rajhi charity Hajj initiative reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to social welfare and support for its citizens, particularly those who are economically disadvantaged. As the Kingdom continues to enhance these programs, citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities available to improve their living conditions and fulfill their religious obligations without financial strain.
