Another remarkable moment was the collaboration between singers Noa and Mira Awad, who performed John Lennon’s "Imagine" as part of the festival’s message of peace. The performance featured the first verse sung in Hebrew, the second in Arabic, and the remaining verses blended Italian and English. This presentation aimed to celebrate harmony and unity, showcasing the festival's efforts to bridge cultures.

Artistic director Carlo Conti, returning to the Sanremo stage after eight years, commented on the substantial tradition behind the festival. Reflecting on the nuances and emotions tied to his role, he noted, "Non ce la faccio a fare troppo tardi, io penso di finire all’1:15, spero di stare in temi ragionevoli." His words highlight the pressure and excitement of maintaining the festival's longstanding reputation of engaging live performances.

All participating artists presented their entries for the first time to the public, and the voting process was overseen by the esteemed Giuria della Sala Stampa and the radio jury. Following the completion of all performances, the top five songs were revealed, marking the beginning of what is sure to be another fierce competition

With each performance, anticipation grew among attendees as the audience and media alike gathered to cast their votes and support their favorite acts. The unique mix of well-established and new talent promises to make this festival one to watch.

After the performances concluded, viewers were treated to the inaugural edition of the DopoFestival, hosted by Alessandro Cattelan. Cattelan expressed his intention to create relaxing moments, reminiscent of past popular formats with humor and commentary woven throughout the event. He remarked, "Faremo un DopoFestival che ricordi come clima quelli che ho amato di più," encapsulating the lively atmosphere he hopes to cultivate.

This year’s Sanremo also honors musical legends and figures central to the Italian music narrative, including heartfelt tributes. Notably, the festival paid homage to the late maestro Ezio Bosso, solidifying its commitment to celebrating the rich history of Italian music.
