Samsung Unveils Third Beta Of One UI 7 For Galaxy Foldables

The latest update introduces exciting features like Audio Eraser, prioritizing user experience and security enhancements.

Samsung has taken the wraps off the third beta version of One UI 7.0, based on the upcoming Android 15, specifically for its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This latest iteration not only builds on the changes initiated in earlier beta releases but also showcases significant new features aimed at enhancing user experience.

Earlier in March 2025, Samsung initially unveiled the first beta version of One UI 7.0, which introduced a redesigned user interface, a variety of new features, and smoother animations. Following this, the tech giant rolled out a second beta version around March 18, which primarily focused on correcting bugs. Now, on March 25, 2025, the company has announced the availability of the third beta version, known as One UI 7 Beta 3, carrying firmware version 2ZYCG.

As pointed out by tech analyst Tarun Vats, the new beta update for both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 brings an innovative feature known as Audio Eraser. This groundbreaking functionality allows users to selectively remove six different categories of sounds from videos, which include options such as Crowd, Music, Nature, Noise, Voices, and Wind. This aspect is especially appealing for content creators and casual users alike who wish to enhance their video recordings.

Furthermore, One UI 7 Beta 3 adds an advanced version of the Sketch to Image feature. This tool empowers users to interact with Galaxy AI by providing specific instructions, either through text or voice. The improved AI capabilities ensure that content generation aligns closely with users' imaginative visions, making it a significant upgrade for creative tasks.

In a notable addition, Samsung has included a new Galaxy AI button in this update. When users highlight text, tapping this button reveals options that facilitate easy summarization. This enhancement could prove beneficial for users seeking to distill information quickly from lengthy text.

In tandem with these features, the newest update also incorporates the April 2025 security patch. This positions the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 as the first devices to receive this patch, enhancing their security posture amid growing concerns over device vulnerabilities. Although Samsung has not revealed detailed specifics about the security enhancements, the inclusion of this patch underscores the company’s commitment to protecting its users.

Samsung’s continuous improvements through beta releases reflect its dedication to refining user experiences and ensuring that its devices remain at the forefront of technology. With every update, Galaxy users are treated to new functionalities that not only cater to their creative needs but also prioritize security.

As the third beta version rolls out, anticipation builds around the stable version rollout, which Samsung is expected to officially announce later in the year. Users of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 can look forward to these enhancements as they further leverage the capabilities of their devices.
