Samsung has officially launched its latest rugged devices, the Galaxy XCover7 Pro smartphone and the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet, designed for demanding work environments. These new additions to the Galaxy lineup come with significant upgrades compared to their predecessors, focusing on durability and enhanced performance.
Both devices are primarily aimed at business customers, government agencies, construction engineers, and hospitality sectors, making them suitable for harsh conditions. The Galaxy XCover7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, which is reported to be twice as fast as the Dimensity 6100+ found in the previous XCover model. This new smartphone features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with the capability to expand via a microSD card of up to 2TB.
One of the standout features of the Galaxy XCover7 Pro is its improved battery capacity, now at 4,350 mAh, an upgrade from the previous model's 4,050 mAh.
