Samsung Electronics has announced the highly anticipated rollout of its One UI 7 software update, promising significant enhancements for users across various Galaxy devices. This pivotal update, based on Android 15, is set to revolutionize the user experience and is scheduled for formal launch on January 22, 2025, coinciding with the introduction of the Galaxy S25.
Following the launch event at Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung confirmed the rollout of the One UI 7.0 update will begin for the newest Galaxy S25, shortly followed by updates for other compatible devices starting from late February 2025.
Current device owners of Galaxy S23 and S24 need not worry, as Samsung has affirmed these models will also receive One UI 7. The company boasts its commitment to providing up to seven years of updates for high-end devices. Beta versions of the One UI 7 have already been made available to S23 and S24 users since December 2024, allowing early access to new features.
