Salon International De L'Agriculture 2025 Celebrates French Pride

The 61st edition to showcase Morocco’s agriculture and French innovations.

The 61st edition of the Salon International de l'Agriculture is set to take place from February 22 to March 2, 2025, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. This annual event promises to be more than just an agricultural exposition; it is anticipated to offer exceptional experiences and interactions between the agricultural community and the general public. With over 1,000 exhibitors and the notable inclusion of Morocco as the guest of honor, the Salon aims to celebrate the rich diversity and innovation within the agricultural sector.

This year's theme, "Fiers de notre agriculture," or "Proud of our agriculture," emphasizes the quality and dedication of French agricultural professionals. At the heart of the event, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty will host numerous interactive and educational opportunities. Visitors can explore everything from engaging culinary workshops to tastings of seasonal products recognized for their quality and origin. Culinary sessions will be led by professional chefs and will allow attendees to discover practical, anti-waste practices alongside delicious French recipes.

The Salon will also host the Agora, where agricultural professionals will share insights through conferences and roundtable discussions. These sessions aim to address public policy related to agriculture, food, and forestry, fostering dialogue about the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. One of the highlights of the Salon will be the presence of Oupette, the star of the event, who is poised to represent the excellence of French breeding. Oupette, the six-year-old Limousine cow, is set to charm visitors and showcase the high standards of French livestock. She will be accompanied by her calf, born on Christmas Day, adding to the appeal of the exhibit. Meanwhile, the Moulin des Gypses, a small producer of wine and olive oil from Mormoiron, will also be present for the first time. José, one of the owners, expressed excitement about the opportunity, saying, "It’s grandiose! I’m very proud and honored to be on the Vaucluse stand." The salon provides them with invaluable exposure to potential new customers and distributors.

With the aim of promoting agricultural education, stakeholders from the agricultural sector, including students from agricultural schools, will display their respective products, including homemade jams and fruit juices made from locally sourced ingredients. The presence of students not only enhances the educational experience for visitors but also inspires the next generation of farmers and producers. Beyond the stands and exhibits, the Salon offers lively and interactive activities, such as quizzes and the innovative AI photobooth.
