Sabrina Carpenter Headlines Fortnite Festival Season Eight

The pop star brings her music and style to the gaming universe starting April 8

Epic Games has officially announced that pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter will headline the eighth season of the Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game mode that allows players to perform songs in a Rock Band-like experience. The festival, which kicks off on April 8, 2025, will feature a host of new in-game content inspired by Carpenter's music and style.

As part of the Season Eight Music Pass, players can look forward to a variety of Sabrina Carpenter-themed items, including the SC Heart Purse Back Bling, Cute Cutout Contrail, and Sabrina’s Mic. Additionally, two Dance Emotes have been choreographed to her hit songs, “Taste” and “Please Please Please.” These items can be purchased individually or as part of a bundle named "A Sweet Little Bundle," which also includes the “Please Please Please” Jam Track.

Players will have the chance to choose from four unique skins inspired by Carpenter's looks from her recent 'Short ‘n Sweet Tour.' These include a vibrant yellow bodysuit, a charming yellow babydoll dress, a “Tour-Ready” pink skirt and boots, and a baby blue alternate version. For those who enjoy building with blocks, a Lego version of the skin will also be available in the Lego Fortnite mode.

Beyond the skins, players can unlock premium Jam Tracks such as “Juno” and “Nonsense,” along with SC guitars in yellow and baby blue, and SC Electric Guitars in yellow and blush. Other notable tracks include Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know” and Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” featuring Jessie J. Free rewards will also be available, including B Splat Bass, Beachy Beat Aura, and various Epic Jam Tracks like “All My People,” “Touch the Sun,” “The Last Cavallard,” and “The Future Me.” Meanwhile, players can find the “Taste,” “Espresso,” and “Feather” Jam Tracks available in the Shop throughout the season.

The Fortnite Festival, which was first introduced in 2023, allows players to engage with both licensed soundtracks and create unique mash-ups of their favorite songs. The festival's Main Stage features a curated selection of music, while the Jam Stage encourages creativity and collaboration among players.

Carpenter joins an impressive lineup of past festival icons, including music legends like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Metallica. Her addition to the Fortnite universe comes on the heels of her significant achievements in the music industry, including a groundbreaking year in 2024 where she became the first woman to top the UK albums chart while simultaneously dominating the singles chart with her hits “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Espresso.”

In March 2025, Carpenter received the global success gong at the Brit Awards, further solidifying her status as a rising star. The festival will allow players to perform her music virtually, enhancing their gaming experience while celebrating Carpenter's artistic contributions.

To participate in the Fortnite Festival, players can purchase the Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks (approximately $12 USD) or opt for the Fortnite Crew subscription, which includes 1,000 V-Bucks, the Premium Music Pass, and the Battle Pass for a monthly fee of $11.99. For those who prefer to buy directly, the Tour-Ready Sabrina Carpenter outfit can be acquired from the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks.

In addition to Carpenter's themed content, the eighth season of the Fortnite Festival will introduce several new features aimed at enhancing player engagement. Players will now be able to layer up to four loops simultaneously when jamming with friends, and Epic has refined the audio-visual setup to improve the overall experience. A new social feature will also allow players to perform alongside bandmates based on their favorites list.

For content creators, Epic is offering a unique opportunity to monetize videos featuring eligible Sabrina Carpenter songs during the first week of the season, provided their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts are linked. Following this period, Epic has stated that there should be no takedown notifications related to these videos.

Fortnite has been actively working to expand its user base through collaborations with popular artists, recognizing the potential for music to engage fans in new and exciting ways. The success of previous virtual concerts, such as the ‘Remix: The Finale’ which attracted 14.3 million concurrent players, underscores the game's ability to draw large audiences through musical events.

As the Fortnite Festival Season 8 approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating the chance to engage with Sabrina Carpenter’s music in a dynamic gaming environment. With her recent accolades and a growing fanbase, Carpenter's collaboration with Fortnite is poised to be a highlight of the gaming season.

The festival promises to be a thrilling experience for players and music lovers alike, blending the worlds of gaming and pop music in a way that only Fortnite can.
