RYUHEI Shines At Venue101 Debut For BE:FIRST

BE:FIRST's RYUHEI impresses fans and members with remarkable growth on NHK's Venue101.

Japanese boy band BE:FIRST made waves as member RYUHEI made his debut on the popular NHK show "Venue101" on March 1, 2025. The seven-member dance and vocal group showcased RYUHEI's notable growth and development during the live broadcast, which aired at 11 PM.

Turning 18 last November, RYUHEI impressed both fans and bandmates alike with his transformed performance. During the show, his peers reflected on his progress, including SOTA’s amusing observation of RYUHEI's impressive speed, stating, "He has gotten faster." His lighthearted modesty showed as he expressed, "I’ve always been fast," acknowledging his natural athletic ability.

The light-hearted banter continued with fellow member JUNON, who praised RYUHEI’s improved communication skills, explaining, "When I see him actively chatting with our juniors, I think, 'Wow, he has changed!'" This change reflected RYUHEI's growth, not only as a performer but also as a person who is gradually transitioning to adulthood. RYUHEI shared his reflections, saying, "At 18, I feel like I should start acting more like an adult." His serious demeanor at this moment was met with lighthearted responses from his bandmates.

Apart from his athletic skills and social growth, the show also highlighted RYUHEI’s small yet endearing changes, such as being slightly taller and forgetting his belongings less frequently. Such charming insights revealed how he has matured since his debut.

While RYUHEI was receiving endless compliments for his growth, he also exhibited his playful side. During the show, host Ryuuichi Hamaya of the comical duo Kamaitachi gestured for him to sit, which RYUHEI adorably mistook for an invitation to shake hands. He laughed it off, saying, “I was just really nervous.”

The camaraderie and support among BE:FIRST members were evident, showcasing the group's tight-knit bond as they continue to navigate the challenges of fame together. The proud showcase of RYUHEI’s growth on national television is just the stepping stone for what promises to be even greater achievements for the talented group.

Adding to BE:FIRST's popularity are other members, including SOTA and JUNON, who have also been applauded for their own strides and developments. With each member contributing their unique talents, they continue to resonate with fans across Japan and globally.

Overall, RYUHEI and his fellow bandmates expressed excitement for their future endeavors post-Venue101, alluding to upcoming performances and projects. The enthusiasm of the audience and the electric atmosphere of the event demonstrated BE:FIRST's rapidly growing stature within the J-pop scene.
