Russian Television Series Set To Premiere February 3

New seasons of popular shows and fresh dramas to capture viewers' attention this month.

Russian television viewers have exciting new series to look forward to as several premiere dates have been officially announced. Notably, the much-anticipated fourth season of the detective series "Первый отдел" starring Ivan Kolesnikov and Sergey Zharkov will make its debut on February 3, 2025, at 20:00 on the NTV channel.

Viewers can expect gripping storylines as the new season follows the investigations of Colonel Yuri Bragin. Suspended from service under murky circumstances, Bragin seeks to clear the name of his friend and colleague, investigator Mikhail Shibanov, who finds himself embroiled in dangerous accusations involving narcotics trafficking. The new episodes promise to be intense and engaging, set against the backdrop of the Vologda region as authorities search for the missing Yuri Krutov.

The series features key performances by Yuri Borisov and others, examining the trials and tribulations of coal miners and their families within the fictional town of Uglegorsk.

With the actor's current acclaim surrounding his Oscar nomination, this rerun of "Уголь" is timely.
