Meanwhile, the Kharkiv region also faced brutal attacks. On the night of March 8, three civilians lost their lives due to drone strikes on the meat processing plant located in Bogodukhov. Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional military administration, detailed how four Shahed-type attack drones sparked deadly fires on site. The remains of three workers were pulled from the wreckage, with seven others injured during this assault.
Despite the growing casualties, Russian military officials provided no comments on their actions within Dobropolye or Bogodukhov, adhering to their strategy of silence surrounding civilian harm.
Significantly, the southern region of Odessa saw renewed drone strikes the previous night. The regional head, Oleg Kiper, reported damages from such assaults, which resulted in fires at both industrial buildings and gas stations. Destructive debris also ignited agricultural machinery through the impact of strikes, marking Odessa as targeted for the fifth consecutive night.
