Candidates must submit their applications by March 1 and fees by March 3 to be eligible for recruitment.

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is set to close the registration window for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 today, March 1, 2025. Candidates interested in applying for the competitive exam can register by visiting the official RRB websites.

According to the latest update, the last date for submitting the application fee is March 3, which grants candidates some additional time to finalize their financial obligations. The RRB will provide an application modification facility starting on March 4 and running until March 13, allowing candidates to make necessary adjustments to their submitted forms.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 positions within the railway organization, spanning various roles across the Level 1 categories. The selection process will involve multiple stages, including a computer-based test (CBT), physical efficiency test (PET), document verification, and medical examinations. Although the official exam dates for the written portion have yet to be announced, candidates should prepare for the CBT format, which will include 100 questions and last 90 minutes.

Notably, the application fee is set at Rs 500 for general category candidates, whereas individuals belonging to special categories—including persons with disabilities (PwBD), transgender individuals, ex-servicemen, and members of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and female applicants—will be charged Rs 250.

To apply for the RRB Group D positions, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria: they should have completed class X or possess equivalent qualifications, with age limits set between 18 and 36 years. Recruitment will only be available to those whose results for their final examinations have been declared.

The application process includes two steps: Part I involves initial registration, and Part II permits candidates to log in and provide detailed information. Aspirants can easily navigate the application process by following specific steps. First, they need to visit the official RRB website at rrbapply.gov.in and click on the ‘apply’ button. After filling out the required details, they can register and log back in using their unique registration number and passwords.

Candidates are also instructed to upload necessary documents, including their scanned photographs and signatures, following the detailed specifications provided. It is important to preview all information before submitting the application and paying the required fees, securing the complete process before logging out.

To summarize the submission path: Candidates can apply for the 32,438 vacancies and complete their registrations by following these outlined steps. They need to visit the RRB's official site, register, fill out the application accurately, upload the required documentation, pay the designated fees, and print the confirmation for their records.

The detailed candidate guidelines recommend caution: submissions must be complete and devoid of errors. Critical mistakes, such as omitting information or submitting incorrect documentation, can lead to the rejection of the application.

Consequently, aspiring candidates are encouraged to prioritize their applications for RRB Group D vacancies by adhering strictly to the established guidelines and timelines.

For those who miss today's closing application window, it will not be extended. Therefore, immediate action is critically advised. Candidates should act swiftly to secure their slots for the upcoming recruitment testing periods.
