The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially declared the results for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment examination, known as CBT 1, on February 26, 2025. This examination was conducted from November 25 to 29, 2024, attracting numerous hopeful candidates.

A total of 25,271 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted to move on to the next phase of the selection process, the Computer-Based Test Stage 2 (CBT-2), scheduled for March 19 and 20, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 18,799 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilots across various regions of India.

For candidates eager to check their results, the process is straightforward. Starting February 27, at 3 p.m., individuals can log on to their respective regional RRB websites using their registration number and date of birth to access their individual scorecards. The official link for the results is available on each regional website, including rrbcdg.gov.in for Chandigarh.

It is important to note, as highlighted by the RRB, the results presented are provisional. The notice states, "The candidature of all the qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage Examination (CBT-2) is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter..." This means any discrepancies found may lead to disqualification.

When it came to the expected cut-off marks for this year, various sources suggested potential ranges across several categories. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories might see cut-off marks ranging from 55 to 65, with OBC candidates expected to fall between 45 to 55 and SC candidates between 40 to 30, and ST candidates around 35 to 25. These numeric benchmarks highlight how competitive the process can be.

The announcement of the CBT results was not just about qualification but also about the subsequent steps involved. Following the CBT 1 results, candidates must prepare for the CBT 2, which forms the basis for the final merit list.
